Permaculture Education
Steve is a Certified Permaculture Teacher that has studied under Max Lindegger, Peter Bane, Sandy Cruz, Andrew Goodheart Brown, and many others. In 2007 Steve taught his first Permaculture course at Crystal Waters Ecovillage in Australia with Max Lindegger.
Since 2004 Steve has also been teaching courses in community planning and sustainability at Plymouth State University. This has included semester long offerings, and shorter field study courses in Ecovillage Design and Permaculture in a variety of locations including Iceland, Scotland, Sweden, India and Australia. In 2008 Steve also began teaching courses internationally for Living Routes an organization focused on study abroad opportunities in Ecovillages. One of the sites Steve has been teaching at (Sadhana Forest, India) was recently featured in a French documentary, and an interview with Steve was included toward the end of the film.
